Commitment to Community
Sapona leadership takes seriously the company responsibility to protect public health, safety and the environment and to practice good business ethics in operations as well as throughout the life cycles of products and services.

Establishment of Sapona Plastics' location near Seagrove is serving the community by creating jobs and has guaranteed a Federal grant of nearly $500,000 for sewer system facilities in the Seagrove area.

Jack Lail has served on local boards of the Randolph Hospital, Randolph Community College, and Wingate College. Dean Lail has served in The Kiwanis Club of Asheboro and on the board of the Salvation Army. These leadership efforts in the community are just some of the ways Sapona focuses on health and education in the community. The company also supports United Way and campaigns annually to allow employee payroll deductions for United Way contributions.
